Mumbai is a very vibrant city being the entertainment capital of India, it is also the capital of nightlife and there are many places where you can view the fashionistas.

Places to visit:

GATEWAY OF INDIA – Known as the icon of Mumbai, the Gateway of India was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India 1911. This 26-metre high archway welcomed numerous viceroys, governors and top civil servants. You can take a ferry from the Gateway of India to Elephanta Island and other beaches across the port.

JEHANGIR ART GALLERY – Jehangir Art Gallery is the city’s most famous museum of contemporary Indian art. The exhibits in the gallery are changed on a regular basis. Outside the gallery is the Artist’s Plaza where you can find many artists offering their work for sale.

KANHERI CAVES – The ancient Kanheri Caves dating back 2,400 years were sculpted out of the rocky cliffs in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. If you walk up the hill you can discover channels and cisterns that are remnants of an ancient water system.

MARINE DRIVE - Mumbai’s magic can be experienced with a stroll down Marine Drive. This promenade is strung with glittering streetlights like enormous strand of imperious jewels; Marine Drive is also called the Queen’s Necklace.

PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM – One of Mumbai’s finest examples of Victorian architecture and also among India’s best museums. It houses treasures, artifacts, paintings and sculpture from the many periods covering India’s history.

SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK - The Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a rare park that lies within the city limits. Wild and unsafe, but breathtakingly beautiful, this park is filled with dense forests and dotted with sylvan lakes. You can take a Lion Safari at the entrance to view the wild animals.
