
With foreclosures and the credit crunch as a gloomy financial backdrop, many small companies have either folded or drastically cut back.
For Faroudja Toner, the economic slowdown has actually been kind to this 15-person operation.
“We have not been much affected by the recession,” said founder and President Phil Faroudja. “Actually, I've always felt that ours is a recession-proof business; as money gets tight, people look for ways to save, and one way to save is by buying a remanufactured cartridge. That seems to have been the case for us. And usually, people are pleasantly surprised that a remanufactured product works well and saves them money.”
