Static Control Delivers Industry's Only Comprehensive Seal Guide

SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control has compiled the industry's only all-inclusive seal guide organized by cartridge part number to assist customers in choosing the best, most effective sealing solution for their aftermarket remanufacturing needs.To date, Static Control offers more than 100 different sealing solutions, the broadest line of sealing products in the industry. Each seal that is offered has been carefully produced keeping the cartridge design, ease of installation, and performance in mind. The development process is extensive and includes a detailed analysis of the OEM cartridge to determine the options available, prototype and product testing utilizing specifically developed tooling and test environments to ensure performance in all conditions, and repetitive testing to ensure all seals can be easily and successfully installed quickly in production environments.
“In an effort to simplify the ordering process for our customers and offer a quick reference guide, we have assembled this comprehensive Seal Guide in a printed format,” said Ed Swartz, CEO of Static Control. “Our goal was to make this guide easy to use, easy to read, and easy to understand. No one in the industry has been able to step up and put something like this together for the aftermarket until now.”
The guide features seals for non-split cartridges, such as rigid insertable seals and adhesive seals, and seals recommended for split cartridges including foil and foam types. The guide is organized by OEM, cartridge part number and engine listing.
Also included are sealing accessories used in conjunction with seals such as rails, pull tabs, tools and fixtures.
The seal guides have been mailed to all Static Control customers and will be updated as necessary to keep customers current on Static Control's latest offerings.
