UniNet West Coast Expands Distribution Facilities

LOS ANGELES — UniNet announced the addition of 65,000 square feet of warehouse, production, and R&D facilities sited at 3232 El Segundo Blvd., Hawthorne, Calif. The new space is conveniently situated next door to the company’s existing distribution warehouse strategically located approximately two miles from the Los Angeles International Airport and 10 miles from the Port of Los Angeles.“The new building will provide our West Coast distribution center with a 100 percent increase in production and storage capacity, allowing us to maintain 98 percent same day shipping rate to U.S. customers,” said Masanobu (Mark) Miyatani, UniNet distribution and logistics manager.
“The combined 110,000-square- foot complex will be comprised of UniNet’s R&D corporate department and laboratories, storage capacity for more than 500 printers, copiers and MFPs, a comfortable and well-equipped customer training room and an area suited for an environmental chamber,” said Neil Robinson, UniNet technical director.
“The new distribution/R&D building investment is part of UniNet’s worldwide commitment to provide our clients with timely delivery, R&D support, and technical training. It also expresses our confidence in the future success of the industry,” said Nestor Saporiti, UniNet president.
