STS MachineHICKSVILLE, N.Y. — STS Refill America, a technology company, announced its JT 219 refill kiosk that will refill black, color and photo cartridges from HP, Lexmark, Dell, Sharp, Canon and Xerox.

A touchscreen operation guides users through every step of the refill process.
Testing a cartridge’s electronics, cleaning, refilling and then retesting the cartridge for print quality are all done in this 38 inches wide and 22 inches deep kiosk.

The average material cost of refilling an ink cartridge is less than $1.25.

STS Refill was founded by Shahar Turgeman in Ashdod, Israel in 1999. STS Refill has been manufacturing a wide variety of ink refill machines for the professional market since 2002. From its factory in Israel, STS Refill has installed over 1,300 systems worldwide, mostly in Europe. In late 2005 the company opened its New York factory to service North and South America.

STS Refill manufactured the first computerized ink refill machines in the world. Its unique refill process is patent pending as is the company’s vacuum chamber technology.
