Ricoh and Katun Settle Patent Lawsuit

Ricoh Americas Corporation and Ricoh Electronics, Inc., and their parent company, Ricoh Company, Ltd., along with Katun Corporation, General Plastics Industrial Company, Ltd., and Nashua Corporation announced  that they have reached an out of court settlement in the lawsuit claiming infringement of several Ricoh patents as well as for trademark infringement and unfair competition, and a counterclaim against Ricoh for monopolization of the aftermarket for supplies and consumables for certain Ricoh, Savin, Lanier and Gestetner copiers.

No details of the settlement are available.
