Lanier Launches Mono MFP

Lanier introduced the LD125SPF Digital Imaging System. The Lanier LD125SPF, which incorporates multifunction capabilities including copying, printing, scanning, faxing, and security all into one easy-to-use, compact system, is ideal for small departments, workgroups and independent businesses.
Lanier is constantly looking for ways to make products stronger and more versatile and as such, the LD125SPF builds upon the best features of two predecessor products – the LD320d and the LD325. Taking the simpler, compact and affordable engine and controller of the LD320d and the faster speed, and advanced finishing capabilities of the LD325 makes this new system a more effective and less-costly document management solution.
With copy and print speeds of 25 pages per minute (ppm) and 600 dpi resolution, the Lanier LD125SPF allows users to get more work done in a shorter amount of time. With a potential paper supply of 2,100-sheets, large jobs can be kept running with minimal downtime and handling time is also minimized with the 50-sheet Automatic Reversing Document Feeder. Printing or copying two-sided documents with the stackless duplexing capability saves paper and shelf space.
The Lanier LD125SPF not only includes advanced copying and printing functionality, but it offers advanced networking capabilities as well. The Lanier LD125SPF can output documents with standard PCL5e/6 print drivers or optional genuine Adobe PostScript 3 when accepting data from Windows, Macintosh, Novell and Linux network operating systems. When the PDF Direct Print feature is utilized, PDFs can be printed rapidly without opening an application and slowing down the network. In addition, a Refined Print Command Stream (RPCS) Driver lets users simplify job settings, so even the most complex documents can be handled with one click of the mouse.
User-friendly features are built into the Lanier LD125SPF such as Scan-to-Email/Folder and DeskTopBinder, which make managing and distributing documents a quick and easy process. Multiple users are able to access a single document at their convenience with Scan-to-Folder and documents created using different applications can be stored into one file with a single set of characteristics with DeskTopBinder V5 Lite. In addition to managing and distributing documents, the MP 2500SPF also protects proprietary and confidential data with advanced security features such as Wi-Fi Protect Access and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) support, which scrambles data and passwords as they travel over the network.
The Lanier LD125 model is available for users that require a stand-alone copier and prefer to upgrade at a later point in time. Various connectivity kits can be added to the Lanier LD 125 based on customers’ current or future business needs. The Printer Enhance DDST Kit provides a low-cost solution for users requiring networked PCL Emulation printing and TWAIN scanning. The Printer/Scanner Kit includes Lanier’s Next Generation Architecture Controller and features PCL & RPCS printing as well as Scan-to-Email/Folder capabilities, Device Monitoring and the latest security features. The All-in-One-Kit includes the same features as the Printer/Scanner Kit, with the addition of Advanced (IP, Internet, and LAN) Faxing. The Fax Kit includes a 33.6 Kbps fax modem with JBIG Compression. The suggested retail price for the Lanier LD125 is $3,200.00 and the LD125SPF with the standard All-in-One Kit and One-Bin Tray is $4,940.00.
