In addition, the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series enables users to create professional documents effortlessly with advanced finishing options such as a cover interposer, a 100-sheet staple finisher, a booklet finisher, a Z-fold unit that cuts down over-sized documents to a more convenient size, and a two or three-hole punch unit.
Security is a critical concern for organizations and Ricoh’s solutions adhere to the philosophy that security can never be left to chance. The Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series was designed to safeguard information at every point in the printing, transmission and distribution process. Latent images on the internal hard drive are removed through the optional DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS), while confidential information can be safeguarded with the Unauthorized Copy Control feature that protects sensitive documents with an embedded message that appears if a document is copied. Additionally, passwords can be assigned to PDFs that only intended recipients would have access to and up to 500 user codes can be assigned to employees or departments to prevent unauthorized usage of the systems.
The Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series is compatible with the StreamPunch III, a new product from GBC. The StreamPunch III is an in-line interchangeable die set punching system for printing systems such as the new Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series.
Aligning with Ricoh’s dedicated environmental principles, the Aficio MP 5500/MP 6500/MP 7500 Series is ENERGY STAR qualified and incorporates superior energy and supply-saving features including Quick Start-up (QSU) technology, power-saving sleep modes, toner recycling, low noise levels and minimal ozone emissions.
The Aficio MP 5500 is available at a suggested retail price of $17,000, the Aficio MP 6500 is available for $21,500 and the Aficio MP 7500 retails for $28,000.
