Océ to Unveil Five New Color Printing Systems

Océ will be unveiling its newest color and monochrome printing solutions, cut-sheet systems and innovative workflow technology at the IRgA 2006 Annual Convention and Trade Show opening in Orlando, Fla. All solutions are part of Océ’s concerted effort to help their reprographic customers control printing within their shops and for their customers.

Establishing a bold move into large format color, Océ will unveil five new color printing systems: the Océ TCS300, Océ TCS500, Océ CS2024, and Océ CS2044 that take CAD and GIS printing to the next level and the Océ CS9065, which gives graphics users a high-speed, dual-ink print system for producing high-quality, outdoor durable graphics. Océ also will demonstrate its continued commitment to outstanding monochrome offerings by showcasing two new black-and-white large format systems: the Océ TDS320 and Océ TDS450. Advancements in the cut-sheet, narrow format arena are supported by the Océ CPS900 color print system and the Océ VarioPrint 2110 monochrome production system. Finally, Océ will highlight its new innovative workflow automation software, Océ Repro Desk Professional software, and show the extremely productive, high volume system, the Océ TDS800 Pro Series, the popular print/copy/scan system that is dedicated to enhancing reprographic productivity and profitability.

Five Printing Systems Address Rapid Growth of Color

The five most recent additions to Océ’s range of color printing systems are designed to deliver unmatched speed, efficiency and convenience – plus the quality and reliability for which Océ is known. These solutions address the ever-growing demands for color in engineering, CAD and GIS applications and provide outdoor graphics users with production speed and the convenience to place the printer in any environment.

Océ TCS300

This new large format inkjet color printer is aimed at eliminating wait times and streamlining document output. With up to three times the color speed of other competitive inkjet printers on the market plus the ease of operation that decentralized users need, the Océ TCS300 delivers an affordable solution well suited for a broad range of users seeking to meet increasing demands for large format color and monochrome CAD documents.

Océ TCS500

As the successor to the proven Océ TCS400, this integrated print/copy/scan system optimizes print speed and quality and harnesses the power of concurrent processing to make it the fastest, most productive large format, color CAD print system on the market. The system is ideal for handling quantities of large format technical documents such as detailed CAD line drawings and complex GIS files as well as other color technical documents.

Océ CS2044 and Océ CS2024

These new, low volume systems – with printing widths of 44 and 24 inches, respectively – produce crisp, clear line drawings and brilliant color graphics, making them suitable for handling a wide variety of applications, including CAD, GIS, and display graphics. The option to add two additional RIPs for enhanced CAD or PostScript processing ensures the systems will grow concurrently with users'' evolving demands.

Océ CS9065

This high quality, production speed printer uses either low-solvent or eco-solvent inks to create outdoor-durable prints. Users find flexibility in where the unit can be operated (i.e. light industrial, print shop or office environments) through its dual-ink capability. The Océ CS9065 is perfect for short run print jobs and is designed for light to mid volume production environments where high quality output and outdoor durability are required.

Large Format Monochrome Offerings Promote Productivity and Workflow

Two recently introduced systems from Océ as well as the industry’s leading production system further extend the selection of large format systems for monochrome engineering and CAD documents. Each system complements the already extensive range of Océ large format systems to handle all print volume needs. Océ TDS320

The Océ TDS320 is an economical, entry-level solution for large format print, copy and scan needs.
