Dell announced a contract with B'eing for the day-to-day management of thousands of printers spread across the aerospace company's North American operations.
The scope of the work is in addition to Dell managed service projects already under way at B'eing, including lifecycle management of the company's desktop and notebook computers.
As part of the five-year, multi-million dollar printer management agreement, Dell will provide B'eing with customized IT infrastructure services such as installation, repairs and asset optimization. Dell will also provide B'eing with printer consumables including toner, paper and fuser kits. Lexmark International Inc. will be a key partner to Dell in delivering the printer management solution to B'eing sites.

In addition to delivering quality client support that is repeatable, predictable and efficient, Dell provides B'eing with desktop and notebook computers, workstations, displays, personal digital assistants, network printers and desktop peripherals worldwide. Dell is helping to ensure products are integrated into B'eing processes and systems from the purchasing system to the B'eing Help Desk.
Dell also offers B'eing employees an employee purchase plan that delivered 12,000 systems in 2005.
